"The thought of global change is understandably overwhelming, because how can one individual create a purposeful impact that influences over 7 billion people and counting on a landscape that has survived billions of years. And yet, in the most beautiful moments in history we can see how initiatives stemmed from an individual have been expanded and exploded because of the community effort. As the saying goes, "It takes a village to raise a child", and the earth is our child, something we have to constantly take care of and nourish so that it can flourish for future generations."
